Complementarity of Management Paradigms Used in the Development of the Socio-Economic Development Strategy of the Region

Abstract

The subject of the research is the complementarity of methodological approaches to the development of regional management strategies in the process of reforming the management system of regional socio —  economic development, carried out by reorienting Russia’s domestic policy to apply an innovative approach to the development of regions to accelerate economic growth, create new jobs and ensure competitive advantages in the market of products and services. The purpose of the work is to identify integrated approaches to the development of strategies for the socio-economic development of the subjects of the Russian Federation based on the analysis of current trends in the digital transformation of the economy; identify patterns of socio-economic development of regions depending on their level of innovative development; identify key areas of socio-economic development strategy. Thanks to the analysis of scientific research by domestic and foreign scientists, the thesis is substantiated that the intensity of participation of regions in R&D state financing projects depends on the likelihood of the emergence of new economic specializations in the relevant industries. The conclusion is made about the need for complementarity of management paradigms used in the development of strategies for socio-economic development of the subjects of the Russian Federation.
